FinReady SA is operated by Baldeo and Co ("Baldeo and Co", "we", "us"), a business registered in the Republic of South Africa. FinReady SA is our trading name for this platform, and your agreement is with Baldeo and Co. By creating an account or continuing to use the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. What FinReady SA does
FinReady SA helps South African SMMEs upload business documents and generate AI-assisted draft financial summaries, draft management accounts, and accountant-ready packs intended for internal planning and professional review.
2. What FinReady SA does not do
- We do not produce audited financial statements.
- We do not produce independently reviewed financial statements.
- We do not produce certified or "official" financial statements.
- We do not provide tax advice, financial advice, investment advice, funding advice or legal advice.
- We do not file returns with SARS, CIPC or any other authority on your behalf.
3. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any document you upload, for reviewing all AI-generated outputs, and for the decisions you make based on those outputs.
4. Acceptable use
- You must only upload data you are entitled to process.
- You may not use FinReady SA to attempt to mislead lenders, regulators or any third party.
- You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the platform.
5. Intellectual property
The platform itself, the software, models, templates, documentation, design and the FinReady SA name and branding, remains the property of Baldeo and Co and its licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your own business while your access is active. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or circumvent the technical limits of the platform. Your own documents, data and the reports generated from them remain yours; you grant us only the limited permission needed to host and process them so we can provide the service.
6. Payments, billing and returns
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Prices are shown in ZAR. Draft Packs are once-off purchases, they do not renew automatically, and each pack allows draft reports covering up to the number of months included in that pack.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious misuse of the platform. Where we end your access, you will be given a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is deleted, unless the law requires otherwise.
8. Service level and disclaimers
We work hard to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Baldeo and Co disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Outputs are AI-assisted drafts and must be professionally reviewed before any reliance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baldeo and Co's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that exclusion is not permitted by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
